In the past four months I have spent:
Nearly $500 in presents
Nearly $500 in materialistic/luxury items for myself
Over $150 in food and drinks
Over $180 in tickets for public transport and concerts
As alarmed and sad as I am about this, I still managed to save over a grand and a half with a total income solely from working of almost $1700 excluding pocket and birthday money.

I think two of my friends are in love with each other except their whole relationship is a bit fucked up at the moment. At first I was really judgmental, like, did neither of them have morals anymore, were they just simply together because they were constantly horny? And now I’m not so sure, I think they really do need each other, not just in a physical sense, I’m starting to notice....
I met a stranger and had a conversation with them; he was an old man from England. He told me about his grandchildren and children, things they were doing, about his visit, and then he started talking about war and how sad humanity was. He was disappointed with how countries could fund for arms and weapons, and what would happen if that money was being used to improve society rather than destroy...
I’m not used to being spoilt, today I learnt how generous my friends are and that these people are next to the most important people in my life to my family.
